What you'll be doing

Develop identified technologies and techniques in applicable technology areas, including: tactical sensors; sensor delivery and emplacement; signature identification; data collection, fusion, communication, and exploitation; decision criteria; and analytical tools and methods related to finding, characterizing, and assessing emerging threats and technologies. Integrate the technologies, tools, and applications created in other parts of the FCA program into viable and deployable systems. Manage interface design and compatibility review and obtain verification and validation of required software applications. Develop test requirements for specific developmental components to demonstrate the capabilities provided by each R and D project or by a system comprised by a set of R and D projects. Plan, develop and conduct integrated technology demonstrations (ITDs); identify test opportunities at all available test facilities (virtual and real) where technologies and methodologies can be evaluated and validated in realistic environments; and match demonstration needs to opportunities, develop comprehensive test plans, and perform the coordination required to ensure smooth test execution and reporting on results.

What your background should be

Ten to twelve years of professional experience and relevant intelligence experience in the DoD or IC. Active secret level clearance (Active top-secret clearance with eligibility for SCI). Experience in sensor development engineering. Experience across the full spectrum of CBRN threats.

Required Schooling / Training

Bachelor degree required in engineering or physics; master degree is preferred.
