Web Conversion Analyst

What you'll be doing

Work with other members of the conversion team to identify opportunities, develop, test, measure and analyze experiments to increase conversion rates. Perform in-depth and ad-hoc analysis of information from multiple data sources (web analytics data, marketing data, transactional data) to provide data-driven business insights leading to improved business results. Manage data from various sources and developing databases and spreadsheets for detailed analysis. Work with other members of conversion team to create dashboards and other internal reporting systems.

What your background should be

Familiarity with a/b or multivariate testing tools and technologies (e.g. optimize, test & target, etc.). Robust experience with Google analytics, webtrends, omniture or a comparable analytics tool required. Experience with tag management tools and manipulating JavaScript-based tags. Extensive SQL knowledge (intermediate to advanced capabilities) and comfort with enterprise-level databases (such as SQL server, oracle, teradata, etc.). Previous experience performing quantitative analysis on datasets, including building an analytical framework, determining and sourcing data, querying the dataset, then developing actionable business insights. Familiarity working with business intelligence platforms (such as Qlikview, tableau, looker, etc.). Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, ability detail oriented, with excellent oral and written communication.
