What you'll be doing
- Trade processing is an integral part of brokerage business & is a process whereby companyensure all trade files and trades sent by clients are procesed correctly and booked in the system ready for margin and settlement. Partner with middle office/client facing teams/broker facing teams in enhancing the client/broker experience. Maintain relationship with the global stakeholders. Ensure a control focused environment and identifying control gaps and resolving the same. Target on efficiency operate model to align with the firms objectives. Review all current metrics reports generated globally and rationalize the inventory of metrics. Identify new key analytical metrics to be produced which will help highlight root causes, capacity, volume and value adds. Partner with appropriate technology teams to help automate the metrics. Perform data analytics to track any trends, themes and recurring issues. Analyze root causes and trends behind the exceptions and create separate projects for big ticket items which will reduce the exceptions and increase the STP rate.
What your background should be
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively to multiple levels of management both in writing and orally. Demonstrated experience with all Microsoft Office products, to include: Excel, Access, Power point, Word. Strong analytical skills. Ability to manage through a changing business landscape. Ability to focus on the key issues and drive initiatives to conclusion. Detail oriented with ability to deliver consistently. Strong time management and multitasking ability. Strong financial markets product knowledge and understanding of the transaction lifecycle in brokerage products. 5+ years of prime brokerage operational experience preferred.
