What you'll be doing
- The Technical Writer will be accountable for assisting staff in the engineering division by creating and managing documentation needs for Level 1 and other programs. In addition, the Technical Writer will support the engineering and mission division staff with a technical skill set aligned to documenting key descriptions of hardware, firmware, software or performance for use by both staff and sponsors. The position holder will develop reports for internal and external use based on engineering-level input. Moreover, the selected candidate will be liable for developing system and component level hardware documentation and assembly and test procedures in partnership with technicians, engineers, and program managers.
What your background should be
- 5 or more years of experience in technical writing
Required Schooling / Training
- BA/BS degree
