What you'll be doing
- Maintain service level of items planned in order to support overall goal. Procure fastener items in a competitive environment to support service level goal. Update weekly service level root cause analysis and drive resolution and prevention of future occurrences. Minimize short supply challenges, as well as discover, resolve, and communicate any shortages discovered. Regularly review and update system settings for errors to maintain a clean and robust working environment. Leverage working knowledge of system settings and parameters to drive planning efficiency. Maintain E&O reduction through management of assigned items. Perform regular maintenance and updating of statistical safety stocks using option targets. Develop reporting, analyse and measure results to ensure business metrics and objectives are being met.
What your background should be
- At least 2-3 years of supply chain experience. Working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office. Excellent Excel skills required (pivots, macros, v/h lookups, etc.). Access skills preferred (queries, forms, etc). Strong communication skills, both verbal and written and the ability to effectively communicate throughout all levels of the organization. Effective project management skills, team skills, strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. Solid problem-solving ability and strong attention to detail required.
Required Schooling / Training
- BA/BS degree.
