What you'll be doing

Coordinates, supervises and is accountable for the daily, weekly, monthly activities of a team members. Sets priorities for the team to ensure task completion and performance goals are met, such as quality, adherence, service level. Coordinates work activities with other supervisors, managers, departments, etc. Identifies and resolves operational problems using defined processes, expertise and judgment. Provides coaching and feedback to team members, including formal corrective action. Conducts annual performance reviews for team members. Provides expertise and customer service support to members, customers, and providers. Provides expertise and general claims support to teams in reviewing, researching, negotiating, processing and adjusting claims. Authorizes appropriate payment or refer claims to investigators for further review. Analyzes and identify trends and provides reports as necessary. Consistently meet established productivity, schedule adherence, and quality standards. Responds to claims appeals. What your background should be

3+ years of previous team lead, supervisory, or managerial experience leading a team of 10+. 3+ years of experience in the development of staff or team. 2+ years of proven ability in providing customer service to internal and or external customers. Experience working with Medicaid claims. Advanced level of MS word, excel, and PowerPoint experience required.
