What you'll be doing
- Administers pre-employment tests and conducts orientation and indoctrination programs, as directed. Payroll manager for all hourly employees. Participates in the administration of wage and salary, employee training, recreation, and benefit programs, as directed. Assists in maintaining a safe and healthy condition on company property to achieve the best working environment possible for all employees and visitors. Assist plant management and human resources in progressive discipline process and consult on terminations. Responsible for administrating policies and programs covering employment, wage and salary administration, personnel administration (records and reports), benefits and services.
What your background should be
- Minimum 5-7 years or more in a role with HR and payroll related experience. Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills with the ability to interface with all levels of management. Advanced computer experience to include Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Ability to plan, organize, prioritize and achieve effective time management while working on multiple projects.
Required Schooling / Training
- Bachelor's degree.
