Solution Expert (Aerospace & Defense/Supply Chain)

What you'll be doing

Support the aerospace & defense solutions management in terms of creating multi-year market, solution and commercialization strategies (solution strategy done together with development) in particular by identifying specific solution or sub-vertical areas of investment and focus devising and driving annual operational GTM business plans identifying target markets and target customers for sales and for preparing regional/mu target selling (based on local fit). Help in preparing and executing the industry/lob. Council conducting intensive research on global level through market and competition analysis, awareness and demand generation. Assist the A&D unit management in raising market awareness and demand for industry/lob value proposition and solution offering, building and maintaining a 4x pipeline on 4 rolling quarters. This include driving analyst relations (owned by the A&D team), press relations (supported by the A&D team), supporting regions and market units, marketing and the global partners organization in demand generation planning and execution, including: sales plays and campaigns events strategic accounts planning global partner activities enablement & scaling. Build the knowledge company together with the industry cloud content team, develop and cascade standard content which enables sales and sales support teams to take value proposition to customers, for example executive industry overview, executive points of view value. Recruit co-innovation customers driving OEM partner selection to expand GTM reach. Perform all other duties as assigned.

What your background should be

Minimum 10+ years of combined professional experience in the aerospace & defense and manufacturing/supply chain. 6+ years of professional experience in enterprise software, ideally in value engineer, presales, consulting or business development or related areas. Experience in program planning and/or evaluating business development in new/emerging markets. Experience in developing compelling solution positioning material. 5-10 years of professional experience in customer facing activities.
