What you'll be doing
- Shift leader is responsible and accountable for supervising and supporting productive and profitable restaurant operations. This includes providing great guest service, delivering exceptional food quality, and ensuring team member efficiency, safety and security. A successful shift leader is dedicated to meeting the needs of companies guests, creating a climate in which team members want to do their best, and is seen as a team player who has the ability to find common ground with peers and direct reports. Interacting with guests, staff and management. Opening and/or closing the restaurant according to companies standards by supervising team member performance including setup, food preparation and cleaning. Ensuring team members follow all company safety policies. Completing financial paperwork on a daily basis.
What your background should be
- Must have 1-2 years of related restaurant experience. Must have the ability to communicate in English. Bi-lingual a plus. Must have the ability to perform basic money-related mathematical calculations. Must have the ability to stand for long periods of time. Must be able to lift 30 pounds. Be a part of the team. Passionate individual who will deliver an incredible dining experience to every guest. Must have the ability to read and write in either English or Spanish.
