What you'll be doing
- Achieve or exceed sales objectives through promotion of product features and benefits to physicians and other healthcare providers in assigned territory; a responsible for gaining commitment from physicians to prescribe company products in the appropriate patients for approved indications. Build relationships with physicians and key thought leaders by calling on offices and influencing physicians and healthcare providers to prescribe the company promoted products for approved indications; communicate products approved indications, advantages, features and benefits in both individual and group settings; serve as a disease state expert; and provide a high level of product expertise and customer service for all accounts. Comply with all federal and applicable state and local laws in providing physicians with pharmaceutical samples and literature. Utilize sales force automation system and other equipment to enhance impact of sales call and territory management; and maintain a current key physician target list, submit regular updates to the physician data and plan calls to meet frequency goals. Attend and participate in all required meetings and training programs. Carry out all sales and marketing programs, including occasional evening and weekend events, when approved.
What your background should be
- Experience with cardiovascular and/or pain management products. Must have a valid driving license with a driving record that meets company requirements. Ability to travel up to 20% of the time for meetings. Required must possess initiative, self-motivation and a positive attitude. Candidates should be organized, able to plan and prioritize appropriately while demonstrating sound judgment and decision making. Strong presence, verbal communication and interpersonal skills a must.
Required Schooling / Training
- Bachelor degree.
