What you'll be doing
- A sales administrative assistant provides clerical and minor technical support for the sales department of a company or major organization. Recordkeeping responsibilities may include sales and expense reports, electronic databases and sales proposals for prospective customers. Maintains customer order entry and performs data verification functions. Provides product and pricing information to customers. Creates & distributes quotations for commercial and residential accounts. Tracks quotations status and provides follow-up calls to potential customers. Handles orders, complaints, and other inquiries. Processes various sales related reports for external and internal use. Follows up on sales leads.
What your background should be
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members, customers, and suppliers. Adept with Microsoft Word and Excel. Ability to work in a stressful deadline-oriented environment. Experience with JWS Apex and Viewpoint software is a plus. Pre-employment drug screening & background check.
