What you'll be doing

Provide total leadership and expertise of retail in-store execution to the customer development team for specific customers in a defined geography. Lead the retail agency by directing and translating brand strategies and customer priorities into optimal retail store conditions for maximum sales results and share growth within the assigned geographic territory. Manage the communication process between all agency partners and customer team. Formulate specific action plans to address issues and maximize opportunities at assigned accounts. Ensure best in class in-store communication. Direct the retail agency to ensure achievement of strong results on all speed-to-shelf objectives, share of shelf/C-P brand placement execution, and plan-o-gram compliance within the assigned territory. Obtain maximum distribution in all authorized stores, reduce out-of-stocks, and build business through managing store compliance. Develop account operational relationships to maximize support of in-store execution including retail meetings coordinated by retail agency manager and conducted in conjunction with account business manager/national account manager on customer development team. Develop retail agency relationships with all levels of management to gain alignment and maximum performance of the retail agency. Train and work with 3rd party team members in the field 50%-75% of time ensuring results. Conduct retail management and focus meetings.

What your background should be

4-5 years CPG experience. 2 years agency management experience and/or leadership role in consumer manufacturer/trade or 2 years key account experience with syndicated service (Nielsen,IRI) or similar CPG sales industry. Ability to identify and engage internal and external stakeholders to accomplish best in class execution. Awareness of go to market strategies and retail operations. Analytical experience including customer retail data. Microsoft suite including high level knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and Word. Ability to travel approximately 50-75% of your time.

Required Schooling / Training

Bachelor's degree.
