What you'll be doing
- The retail merchandiser is responsible for routine maintenance of the greeting card department in the stores you are assigned, including ordering, restocking, straightening and organizing product and displays. Responsible for working with an installation team on store fixture installation of new stores, store remodels, store relocations and product revisions. This includes moving card departments, building fixtures and also merchandising product. This position supervise the activities of the installation merchandiser. Also be responsible for managing installation budgets, travel budgets and other costs associated with installations. This position supervise a group of retail merchandiser within a specific geography. Responsible for developing strong relationships and interacting regularly with store personnel and management as well as managing service and travel budgets. This position onboard and train new retail merchandiser, as well as train and coach existing retail merchandiser in store service, installation, use of technology, policies or procedures and best practice work processes.
What your background should be
- Eligible to work in the United States. Able to read, understand and communicate in English. Must have transportation to report to assigned locations on time as scheduled. Able to operate hand-held technology provided. Have access to the internet and email. Willing to work a flexible schedule, including possibly the day before and after major holidays, including weekends. Must be at least 18 years of age. Able to frequently stand for a prolonged period of time. Able to regularly bend, squat, kneel and reach overhead. Able to regularly lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Required Schooling / Training
- HS diploma or GED.
