What you'll be doing

Review and analyze 30, 60, and 90-day delinquent accounts. Contact customers and attempt to secure payment or establish a payment plan by clearly communicating the status of the account. Analyze accounts and work with customers to resolve billing issues or any other matters that may prevent payment of accounts by working with other departments and branch offices. Abide by all federal collection laws and guidelines; document all account activity in a clear and concise manner within customer accounts. Review customer history and where appropriate, waive late charges.

What your background should be

Excellent communication and phone skills necessary. Good problem solver. Computer skills and accurate typing (Microsoft office). Strong negotiator, collection or customer service experience helpful.

Required Schooling / Training

High school diploma.
