Registered Nurse (On Call Coordinator)

What you'll be doing

Triage incoming and outgoing customer service programs and assessing the caller needs and symptoms. Provide appropriate clinical and administrative advice, and follow appropriate clinical protocols to assist the caller needs. Conduct thorough and sound nursing assessments of caller presenting symptoms. Develop implement and evaluate a plan of care for each caller presenting symptoms. Maintain confidentiality of all caller and personnel issues. Document all call inquiries according to policy and procedure. Manage multiple priorities by listening, assessing, speaking, and transcribing patient information in computer. Interact with callers and other staff in a polite and courteous manner.

What your background should be

One year of prior professional nursing experience preferred. Must have excellent written, verbal telephone and interpersonal communication skills. Must have excellent critical thinking skills. Basic computer skills.
