What you'll be doing

The regional sales manager reports directly to the national sales manager. Get results by holding territory teams accountable and help achieve goals both sales and profitability. Make sure the territory teams have the tools to be successful. Continuously develop staff to be great at the jobs and have fun doing it. This individual is accountable for the continuing professional development of his/her direct reports, helping to set priorities for the individuals and the department as well as offering strong organizational leadership by supporting the national sales manager in developing and maintaining best practices for the territory teams manage. Create and maintain short, mid, and long term goals for the region. Support and gain sales by maintaining personal relationships with significant dealers in the region. Ensure that company customers are getting world class service from the sales team.

What your background should be

5+ years of experience as a sales representative with proven successful results. Deep understanding of sales processes and implementation of those processes. Proven experience hiring, training, and managing sales professionals. Strong comprehension of financial numbers. Able to make decisions based on data as well as experience and instinct. Strong financial and small business fluency. Sales and results driven. Flexibility and willingness to experiment and change.
