What you'll be doing

Provide people and technical leadership to a team of QA engineers. Work with business/development teams to ensure that software meets quality standards. Oversee the flawless deployment of software to thousands of restaurants. Manage projects and do resource planning to ensure that projects are staffed pro-actively, delivered on time and within budget. Develop team members into target roles by setting goals, creating development plans and doing performance appraisals. Do vendor contract negotiations and create statements of work for projects and contractor engagements. Set strategic QA goals and implement the strategy by leading and influencing teams. Partner with business leaders to understand requirements and translate them into detailed test plans. Work with development and support teams in an agile development environment to identify issues early and come up with solutions. Communication of software deployment schedules and status updates to all key business partners. Ensure Security and PCI standards for software development, testing and rollouts. Work with onshore and offshore teams to remediate software issues. Lead the QA team to create and use QA automation scripts with automation software like eggplant and selenium. Create and present quality status reports and strategic process improvements to senior leadership on a regular basis.

What your background should be

Required Schooling / Training

Bachelor degree in computer science, or a related field.
