What you'll be doing
- This position will acquire new business by developing strong customer relationship, maintaining an active call back list, and creating and following up referral from existing customer base. Work to establish new business opportunity with potential customer through cold calling, telemarketing, provided lead, networking and client/associate referral. Work to establish add on business with existing customer. Maintain an organized and easily accessible filing system (sales lead, prospective business, new business activity, add on business activity, forecasting, quota detail, etc.). Achieve monthly and yearly quota requirement. Maintain up to date knowledge base of entire product line. Attend industry and product related training program, conference, seminar and educational forum. Work closely with inside sales consultant to assure customer satisfaction and business accountability. Assist branch manager in developing new business idea and accompanying marketing material to achieve sales objective. Work to build long term relationship with customer base provide accurate price quotes in a timely manner to customer. Perform other duty as assigned.
What your background should be
- Must have PC knowledge (Microsoft Office). Previous customer service experience. Experience in a position that deal directly with customer (front-line). Must have a valid driving license preferred. Experience in the building material industry is preferred.
