Outside Sales Representative

What you'll be doing
- The client company is currently looking for an outside sales representative. This position is responsible to perform professional presentations or demonstrations of company products/services while onsite. The candidate will penetrate all targeted accounts and radiate sales from within client base. S/he will overcome objections of prospective customers. Emphasize produce/service features and benefits, quote prices and prepare sales order forms and/reports. The incumbent will build and foster a network of referrals to create new opportunities for revenue growth. The role will generate and develop new customer accounts to increase revenue, by cold calling if necessary. S/he will ensure follow-up by passing leads to account mangers with call-to action, dates complete profile information. Always maintain professionalism, tact, diplomacy, and sensitivity to portray the company in a positive manner.
What your background should be
- The candidate should have previous experience selling building material to contractors. S/he should have the demonstrated ability to convert prospects and close deals, and ability to read blueprints and understand construction practices.
