Outside Sales Representative

What you'll be doing

The client company is currently looking for an outside sales representative. This position is responsible to perform professional presentations or demonstrations of company products/services while onsite. The candidate will penetrate all targeted accounts and radiate sales from within client base. S/he will overcome objections of prospective customers. Emphasize produce/service features and benefits, quote prices and prepare sales order forms and/reports. The incumbent will build and foster a network of referrals to create new opportunities for revenue growth. The role will generate and develop new customer accounts to increase revenue, by cold calling if necessary. S/he will ensure follow-up by passing leads to account mangers with call-to action, dates complete profile information. Always maintain professionalism, tact, diplomacy, and sensitivity to portray the company in a positive manner.

What your background should be

The candidate should have previous experience selling building material to contractors. S/he should have the demonstrated ability to convert prospects and close deals, and ability to read blueprints and understand construction practices.
