National Commercial Escrow Assistant

What you'll be doing
- Familiar with all aspects of commercial escrow closing, including ordering title commitments, obtaining copies of all underlying documents, understanding exceptions and requirements to title, reading legal descriptions and handling curative matters. Properly monitors and assists with all facets of the escrow process such as closing statement preparation, drafting documents, preparing escrow instructions, reviewing transaction documents and instructions submitted by attorneys representing sellers, buyers and lenders. Utilizes software systems in order to correctively input deposits and disbursements. Reviews email correspondence and provides high level customer service in accordance with clients request. Consults and problem-solves with closing staff and customers regarding issues affecting closings. Reviews title objection letters and works with title officers and underwriters to respond to client in a timely and professional manner. Works with senior national commercial closer to deliver error free closing packages, understands professional letter writing and provides law-firm quality work product.
What your background should be
- 3-5 years title/ related real estate experience required. Must have good communication skills. Multitasking ability must. Basic computer skills.
