Mental Health Practitioner (Deaf Mental Health Services)

What you'll be doing
- The client company is currently looking for a mental health practitioner (deaf mental health services). Connect and engage with participants coach the development of independent living skills. Help participants develop individual goals and consistently work towards goal plans assist the participant in connecting with appropriate resources within his/her community. Provide advocacy for participants struggling to obtain resources. Facilitate communication between participants, service agencies, and providers. Drive between multiple counties.
What your background should be
- Experience with adults with serious and persistent mental illness. Previous experience providing in-home visit and teaching independent living skills. Knowledge of adult mental health services. 2000/6000 hours of supervised experience in the delivery of clinical services in the treatment of mental illness preferred. Fluency in American sign language (ASL). Valid driving license, reliable car, excellent driving record, current auto insurance ability to operate independently with mobile resources.

- High school diploma/GED
