What your background should be

Clinical nursing and/or utilization review experience. Appeal formulation experience required. Minimum three years of relevant experience in a leadership capacity preferred. Four years of revenue cycle, customer service, call center or related experience. Familiarity with medical documentation requirements, application of acute care criteria sets, medical literature research and preparation of effective appeals. Excellent CPT/HCPCS and ICD-9 coding processes.

Required Schooling / Training

Associate degree required. Bachelor degree preferred.
