What you'll be doing
- Performs monthly preventative maintenance program. Performs routine tasks as directed by Supervisor. Do minor repairs, as per work order requests. Assists in maintaining the building in good repair and in compliance with local, state and federal laws. Follows established safety rules and Policies & Procedures of facility. Keeps work areas and storage rooms neat and orderly. Keeps all equipment clean and stored. Assists in performing tests on fire alarm system, sprinkler system and emergency generator. On-call for emergencies. Maintains maintenance records.
What your background should be
- Ability to read and write and follow oral and written instructions. A preference for things and objects in repairing and maintaining mechanical or electrical equipment. A preference for learning routine, organized activities when doing minor repairing of machinery, plumbing, carpentry and the like. Experience in maintenance trades preferred.
