What you'll be doing
- The ideal candidate to manage all activities of the machining department. Maintain machines, tooling and parts in optimal production condition. Work safely to prevent on-the-job injuries following all safety regulations. Ensure that CNC operators are meeting production and quality standards. Work as a team member to troubleshoot manufacturing problems with a key focus on continuous improvement. Maintain perishable tooling inventory to meet production requirements. Organize and maintain of the machine shop work environment. Perform troubleshooting and light maintenance tasks on CNC machinery. Perform other duties as assigned by management if required.
What your background should be
- Five year’s related experience and training is required. Must have experience with horizontal & vertical machining centers, mills, and lathes. Interpreting blueprints and work instructions, including GD & T. Ability to setup, program, operate and troubleshoot CNC lathes and mills (vertical and horizontal), without assistance. Must be self-sufficient.
