What you'll be doing
- Ensure all training in the detection and detention of shoplifter, including certification has been completed in the assigned store. Ensure accurate and timely completion of all case management procedure, coach and deliver corrective action as necessary. Hold associate and management accountable for adherence to all law and policy relate to the detection and resolution of external and internal theft. Conduct assessment and generate reporting and action plan for loss prevention and operational performance that impact shortage control and actively work with the store team in the development and implementation of action plan to improve performance. Maintain current knowledge in the area of safety, food safety (as applicable), occupational safety and health administration (OSHA) and environmental program. Assess need, develop plan, involve appropriate partner and ensure implementation and compliance in the assigned store. Conduct safety and food safety (as applicable) inspection on a regular basis, ensure timely and accurate root cause analysis, ensure reporting of result and assist in the development and implementation of corrective action. Lead and embed the loss prevention five play strategy and develop loss prevention action plan, strategy and project using common tool, process and language. Collaborate with operation business partner to provide root cause analysis and feedback on result such as point of sale activity, refund management, inventory result and other key performance indicator (KPI) to improve metric and drive P&L efficiency. Perform other duty as necessary based on store and district result and need.
What your background should be
- Consistent experience of working within a loss prevention environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent time management and ability to prioritize/multi task. Strong attention to detail. Knowledge of effectively conduct investigations. Knowledge and experience in the use of Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
