What you'll be doing
- The logistics associate, working under established procedures and supervision, will perform warehouse and material handling responsibilities as follow. Accurately maintain all pertinent warehouse logs. Verify account numbers and box counts on all incoming shipments. Perform receiving data entry in EXP computer system. Palletize and stage complete incoming orders. Pull and sort shippable processed orders into staging bins, by manufacturer. Pull full process waste containers and replace with empty containers. Seal, transport and stage full waste containers. By manufacturer, box up (palletize as needed) shippable processed orders and authorized fax/wholesaler orders. Complete manual and automated shipping documents. Load and unload trucks using manual and automated material handling equipment. Maintain order and cleanliness in all warehouse dept. spaces. Perform misc. facilities maintenance tasks as required, and any other tasks assigned. Render assistance to other departments as needed and authorized. Perform other tasks as assigned.
What your background should be
- Able to lift and handle boxes up to 50lbs. Able to push cart and hand truck up to 100 yards. Able to control pallet jack and pallet wrapper. Able to drive fork lift. Able to stand for extended periods of time. Ability to physically operate a PC including mouse and keyboard. Ability to work independently and as a team member. Skill proficiency in basic math skills. Must be able to grasp and use writing utensil.
