What you'll be doing
- Assist manager to provide support to the annual and ongoing audits conducted by HCPF, CMS, URAC and HEDIS and by other organizations, which delegates credentialing responsibilities to company. Audit practitioner applications processed prior to the credentials committee meetings. Audit organizational applications processed prior to the credentials committee meetings. Audit practitioner applications processed prior to the weekly reviews. Assist manager with pre-delegation and annual delegation audits. Assist manager with training and educate all new staff and maintain ongoing training on new and revised policies procedures and criteria. Perform monthly delegation updates in the credentialing system. Perform monthly sanction monitoring of the different licensing boards. Create pended letters from the credentials committee meetings. Assist manager with office site visits. Assist in maintaining the credentialing database with the provider data integrity for the provider directories. Attend monthly credentials committee meetings. Complete credentialing committee minutes and agendas. Participate in interdisciplinary teams as required. Participate in departmental process improvement activities.
What your background should be
Required Schooling / Training
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate degree in healthcare or related field preferred.
