What your background should be

Must exhibit a working knowledge of local and regional community resources to address the placement of monitored offenders. Must be proficient with a variety of software applications in order to perform data entry and research regarding offenders. Must be able to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with the judiciary offenders and the general public. Must behave in a professional manner at all times as this is a highly visible position within community corrections. Must work as a member of a team in a variety of activities to include court intake. Two years of experience in the court system, paralegal work, or other directly related experience; or high school diploma and four years of experience in the court system, paralegal work, or other directly related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Required Schooling / Training

Graduation from a two-year/four-year college/university with a major in criminal justice, human services, psychology, or related field of study; or graduation with a two-year degree in criminal justice, human services, psychology, or related field of study.
