IT Resource Planner

What you'll be doing

Coordinate all resource planning activities, including collect planning information from LOB clients and IT management. Ensure ongoing efficiency of resource planning functions participate in acquisition planning and processes. Review current workload characteristics, use highly analytical modelling to predict future resource requirements, develop future forecasts, based on strategy and trends, develop capacity forecasts and recommendations to ensure proper utilization and growth. Supervise the production and publication of workload analysis and resource utilization reporting, including ad hoc reports. Provide guidance and education to resource planning analysts and non-resource planning staff/management in other IT areas.

What your background should be

12 year of experience in a large-scale systems environment with a minimum of 6 year related to resource planning responsibilities. Ability to translate high-level business planning information into technical information and vice versa. Excellent PC skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel. Strong understanding of statistical analysis and modelling techniques required.

Required Schooling / Training

Bachelor degree.
