International Middle Office Analyst

What you'll be doing

Become expert as middle office support for international equity; assisting traders with issues, monitoring and facilitating trade allocations, trade configurations and input, troubleshooting P and S and settlement problems by researching, taking corrective actions and solving root cause. Manage electronic order flow exceptions for the international equity trading desk. Manage order issues for US after-hours trading from 6-8PM. Confirm the financial details of all foreign exchange trades and settling the trades to the appropriate banking instructions. Daily reconciliation of FX foreign currency accounts and investigation/resolution of open accounting items. Ensure pertinent information is effectively communicated within the team as well as internal and external parties in order to successfully operate 24 hours a day. Full understanding of the order and trade lifecycle along with the systems that facilitate the lifecycle, from various order entry points, through execution, and completion of the trade in settlement. Participate in requirement gathering, testing and implementation for projects relating to foreign exchange and international equity. Be able to follow procedures and guidelines.

What your background should be

Series 7 and 63 preferred or required to be earned within six months of hire. Previous experience in non-standard shift environment is a plus. 3-4 years of related experience is a plus, with previous dedicated experience in equity/FX operations. Proven written and verbal communication and presentation skills; exuding confidence and possessing the ability to build consensus across business lines (trading, technology, service, and operations).
