What you'll be doing
- Assures highest possible level of guest satisfaction. Responsible for the cleanliness of guest units as well as the cleanliness of common areas as assigned. Demonstrates and promotes a strong commitment to providing the best possible experience for guests and employees. Cleans assigned guest units in accordance with company standards. Stocks and maintains housekeeping carts and storage rooms. Reports maintenance issues to rooms inspector/manager immediately. Properly tags lost and found items and turns them in to management. Performs towel service responsibilities as needed. Offers guest assistance when needed whenever possible. Cleans break room, guest laundry, vending and other areas as assigned. Complies with all safety and security policies in accordance with company standards.
What your background should be
- Ability to read a limited number of two and three syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences. Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one-or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
