What you'll be doing
- Assures highest possible level of guest satisfaction. Responsible for the cleanliness of guest units as well as the cleanliness of common areas as assigned. Demonstrates and promotes a strong commitment to providing the best possible experience for companies guests and employees. Cleans assigned guest units in accordance with company standards. Stocks and maintains housekeeping carts and storage rooms. Reports maintenance issues to rooms inspector or manager immediately. Properly tags lost and found items and turns them in to management. Performs towel service responsibilities as needed. Offers guest assistance when needed whenever possible. Cleans break room, guest laundry, vending and other areas as assigned. Complies with all safety and security policies in accordance with company standards. Performs other duties may be assigned.
What your background should be
- No prior experience or training. Ability to read a limited number of two and three syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences. Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume and distance. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance, talk and hear and taste or smell.
