What you'll be doing
- Demonstrate and promote a 100% commitment to provide the best possible experience for client companies guest and associate. Train of new and existing housekeeper, guest room inspection and adherence to company standard, policy and procedure. Ensure housekeeping cart, cart room and laundry area maintain to company standard. Work directly with the maintenance engineer perform the guest room deep clean. Perform daily housekeeping task in guest room. Responsible for overall hotel cleanliness. Motivate and drive company initiative within the department. Schedule daily housekeeping assignment board when needed. Perform any other duty as requested by the management team.
What your background should be
- Previous hotel experience required. Ability to read and speak English and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to oversee daily activities of 3 to 7 associates on staff. Skills to coach and train new and existing associates on company standards, guidelines and procedures. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; talk or hear and taste or smell. The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
