What you'll be doing
- This position is responsible to perform floor care tasks according to detailed instruction and to maintain a sanitary, safe, clean and attractive environment to meet hospital and the joint commission standards. The candidate may also be required to perform other cleaning or waste disposal duties as assigned. To perform all trained job duties with a main motivation to maintain a sanitary, safe and attractive environment. To adopt and maintain an overall mentality which embodies the mission and values of the company.
What your background should be
- Uses cleaning/floor chemicals properly according to joint commission and OSHA standards. Understands procedures and properly disposes of infectious waste and trash. Be able to effectively communicate in English in all of the following: speak and understand when conversing with others, read chemical labels, read and follow written instructions, follow verbal directions. Basic computer skills: demonstrate ability to read and respond to email, navigate around basic website in order to complete modules and maintain own personal information regarding pay/benefits. Must communicate effectively including: read color coded labels and chemicals. Follow written and verbal directions.
