What you'll be doing

The government and education distribution lead (GEDL) will be responsible for attaining sales objectives for a plan or specified geographic area. Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales growth. S/he may be responsible for the management of the sales force. The candidate will be responsible for execution of all aspects of government & education sales process including pipeline/prospect development; pre-RFP work: FOIA requests, minority vendor strategies and engagement of lobbyists as app; point of contact for procurement; RFP strategy and execution including finalist presentations; developing and management of local association relationships. GEDL will work in conjunction with producer aligned NBM. Incumbent will lead implementation in conjunction with the local team up until implementation scorecard is submitted (typically 3 months post effective date). This position will be the key point of contact for the sales manager for all aspects of government & education sales activities.

A qualified candidate must have to work collaboratively with the sales manager relative to pipeline management. Must have to manage the pipeline and consult with NBMs relative to government & education sales process. The role must have to report jointly into market general manager and segment general manager.
