What you'll be doing
- The client company is currently looking for a front captain. The candidate is responsible for service staff out at events (events happen at all times of the day and night). Manage service staff on site, coordinate with back captain on food delivery, review menu and staff before event. Adjust to changing timelines, proactive problem solving, and proper food handling and sanitation practices. Aid in staff development and training, portion control. Maintain organization skills and delegation of tasks to staff.
What your background should be
- Clean driving record, comfort driving box trucks on a regular basis. Experience in catering or restaurants with executing events and running a kitchen. Must be able to push/pull/lift heavy items on a regular basis. Open availability, time management skills, ability to work as a team but also independently to execute events. Ability to work in all temperature conditions including outdoors in all seasons.
