What you'll be doing
- Prepare and issue documentation per shipper's letter of instruction (SLI), customer profile, and/or letter of credit (LC). Review the documentation against the SLI and/or LC for accuracy. Arrange for legalization of documents and/or inspection (if necessary). Communicate with customer service (CS) group for any requirements and/or exceptions found in freight instructions/documents. Confirm on board with carriers and communicate with CS staff. Send advice to destination, gateway, and if applicable, origin station. Update track and trace applications. Distribute documents and make copies in accordance with shippers. Assure that files contain all necessary document copies in proper sequence. Trace shipments through all transit points up to final destination (where applicable) and advise CS of any irregularities. Ensure highest level of data quality by processing the shipment accurately. Other duties as requested.
