What you'll be doing

This position will be responsible for assisting in the successful operation and customer service of the food & nutrition services department within a senior living setting. You will help ensure client/customer service & satisfaction with efficient cost effective management meeting and exceeding stated expectations. You will assist in the responsibility for all foodservice-related activities and be primarily involved in resident meal service in a seated dining room setting; including quality improvement, sanitation, infection control and all facility-related activities.

What your background should be

Supervisory experience in food service operations in healthcare related environment. Waited table experience, plus. Some knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation. Supervisory, leadership, management and coaching skills. Financial, budgetary, accounting and computational skills. Proficient computer in various computer programs, Microsoft office programs, e-mail and the internet. Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background check (state and federal) and a drug screen.
