What you'll be doing
- Pre-scan document preparation identifying, sorting documents and removal of encumbrances. Cover all the tasks that are commonly performed as standard steps in the document conversion process. Conversion of paper documents to digital format through high speed scanners. Quality control inspection of imaged documents. Post scan re-assembly of documents. Indexing of the digital files. OCR (optical character recognition) validation and indexing. Handle time sensitive and confidential materials. Deliver accurate documentation to clients. Assist records center operation tasks as needed. Perform other task as assigned.
What your background should be
- Ability to communicate effectively both in verbal and written form. Effectively work individually or in a team environment. Computer proficient and work experience in email and Microsoft Windows environments is required with accurate typing skills. Previous experience with scanning (Kofax) and AnyDoc process a plus.
