What you'll be doing
- Perform data research, cost analysis techniques, and methodologies, using DoD/DoN 5000 series, SECNAVINST 5223.2 and USMC cost analysis guidance. The cost analysis support shall provide an analytically sound methodology and a systematic approach in developing reliable and valid cost analyses. Provide the program life cycle cost estimate (PLCCE) updates utilizing the automated cost estimating integrated tools (ACEIT) and Crystal Ball software models. Provide an executive summary, ground rules and assumptions, cost analysis output, cost/risk assessment, and supporting documentation IAW DoD/DoN 5000 series, SECNAVINST 5223.2 and USMC cost analysis guidance for all cost analysis efforts. Deliver all PLCCEs IAW MARCORSYSCOM approved format(s). Gather information and provide cost research associated with the live, virtual & constructive (LVC) training environment and virtual training systems cost avoidance/return on investment analysis.
What your background should be
- 5 years' experience with DoD cost analysis. Must be able to work independently, detail oriented and organized. Working knowledge of DoD 5000 and terminology. Working knowledge of SECNAVINST 5223.2. Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word.
Required Schooling / Training
- Bachelor's degree.
