What you'll be doing
- Place outbound calls to targeted new customers to present company products or services via telephone through cold calling. Generate qualifying leads by identifying needs of potential customers. Obtain complete and accurate data from potential customers to assist in setting appointments. Identify services/products that are specific to the customer needs in order to generate revenue. Manage leads by tracking and following up on them in computerized system. Report leads to business development reps and customer account specialist.
What your background should be
- Six (6) months of general sales experience. Telemarketing experience. Strong verbal and written communication skills, basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Windows. Ability to generate sales leads. Customer service skills. Organizational skills.
Required Schooling / Training
- High school diploma/GED
