What you'll be doing

Greet, establish and maintain a positive rapport with customer and potential customer. Develop a keen understanding of all ABC product and service. Understand effective service sales process and actively seek sales opportunities. Assist customer in determining need and promote ABC product accordingly. Estimate cost of repair and prepare itemized service order, listing costs of part and labor. Initiate and complete credit check when necessary and establish customer payment arrangement. Maintain good communication with customer and follow up after work is completed to ensure satisfaction. Maintain good working knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations applicable to shop operations including EPA, OSHA, and DOT.

What your background should be

Must have excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Previous service writer and service advisor or customer service training or work experience preferably in the vehicle service industry. Working knowledge of computer business software to include Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook or similar business software applications. Require strong organizational skills to include the ability to effectively manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks and complete assignments within expected time frames.
