What you'll be doing
- Accurate damage analysis and customer service. Inspect vehicle that have been damaged and create an estimate of the necessary repair. Assess vehicle damage and create an initial repair order estimate that meet or exceed the specified accuracy target. Maintain regular contact with the appropriate insurance company to advise on vehicle repair status. Serve as the primary point of contact for customer during and after the repair, provide information, repair update and a high level of service throughout the process. Perform all other duties as assigned.
What your background should be
- Minimum of two years experience in a similar role; experience gained in the insurance industry is also acceptable. Prior estimating experience at a collision repair facility or at an appraisal company. Thorough knowledge of the collision repair process, solid customer service skills and experience with a variety of insurance company procedures is expected. Thorough knowledge and understanding of the collision repair process. Solid customer service skills. Experience with various insurance company procedures. Attention to detail.
