What you'll be doing
- Conduct valuation of inventory prior to contract and work with outside sales regarding any remarketing issue. Excellent negotiator, for the highest recovery possible. Use creative mean to contact wholesale buyer of surplus merchandise. Optimize the recovery of inventory resale including; price, speed, expense, number of customer and new customer. Work to eliminate or minimize expenses associated with inventory resale. Maintain and cultivate existing remarketing relationship. Responsible for researching and locating new customer or outlet. Establish and maintain a central list of potential customer. Work closely with logistic staff for the efficient transport and delivery of the product.
What your background should be
- Prior closeout or wholesale experience required. Must be proficient in Excel. Strong research skills with an entrepreneurial mentality and the ability to maintain relationships, build rapport and credibility a must. This position require an organized, detail oriented individual, able to meet timelines.
