What you'll be doing
- Answer and address all incoming calls pertaining to sales. Prepare sales quotes for customers as directed by the branch sales representative. Maintain a weekly delivery log for trailers to be delivered in the following week. Review open customer files daily for any changes and follow up on any orders sent via mail. Electronically deposit checks and maintain deposit log for the accounting department in coordination with the administrative assistant. Coordinate a neat and clean appearance to the sales facility. Ensure sales representative is briefed on all calls, quotes or questions while they are out of office. Maintain used trailer inventory. Assist sales representatives in any way possible with their used sales including travel to where potential trades are located. Handle walk in trailer sales while salesman is out of the facility. Other duties as assigned by management.
What your background should be
- Must have working knowledge of quote system, trailer models and options. Must have an understanding of company production and product specifications. Able to balance multiple responsibilities at once with little supervision. Must have good written and oral communication skills and be able to communicate effectively with customers. Prior sales experience preferred. Must have a valid driving license and insurable driving record for occasional travel.
