What you'll be doing
- Performs a broad range of benefit related functions to support administration of various employee benefit programs including, but not limited to medical, dental, flexible spending, life insurance, leave benefits, and retirement. Maintains employee benefits data in human resources information system (HRIS). Partners with the payroll team to ensure employee benefit contributions & adjustments are processed accurately. Serves as the point of contact for employee benefits call center to address employee inquiries. Conducts audit and reconciliation activities as needed. Supports annual open enrollment process and education meetings as required. Assists with preparing and delivering benefit communications. Maintains knowledge of related legislative updates.
What your background should be
- Candidate 2-3 years of benefit administration experience is preferred. Working knowledge of employee benefit plans and laws. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel). Excellent customer service skills; effective communication skills, oral and written. Excellent problem solving and trouble shooting skills. Strong organizational and time management skills.
Required Schooling / Training
- High school diploma.
