What you'll be doing
- Complete steps of service to ensure utmost guest satisfaction. Understand and can describe menu offerings, packaging/presentation and pricing. Respond to guest needs and requests. Perform important guest service functions including among other things: empty plates and glassware, wiping down bar and setting up for dining at bar. Always exceed guest expectations. Adhere to location appearance guidelines. Act with a sense of urgency and provides friendly, efficient service to teammates and guests. Maintain service areas; adhere to company guidelines as stated in team member training manual and employee handbook. Communicate guest issues to management. Follow responsible alcohol service policies. Follow cash handling and tip reporting guidelines. Employ good safety and sanitation practice. Practice proper product control and handling of all inventory and equipment. Thoroughly complete all station set-up and breakdown responsibilities. Display a positive attitude toward teammates and managers. Help fellow team members whenever necessary. Always on time and ready to perform all required duties.
What your background should be
- Lift and transports up to 50 lbs., frequently reaches, lift, stoop, bend and clean to maintain service area. Walk and stand during entire shift. Ability to communicate effectively with managers, guests and teammates by speaking and comprehending English. Must be of legal age to serve alcohol and possess any required certifications to do so.
