What you'll be doing
- The company is seeking an administrative assistant to emergency room medical director. The ideal candidate will be experienced in handling a wide range of administrative and executive support related tasks and must be able to work independently and as a team. This person must be exceedingly well-organized, detail-oriented, and flexible and enjoy the administrative challenges of supporting a team of diverse people. This position will need to have multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines. Candidate need to interact with staff at all levels in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality, is crucial to this position
What your background should be
- Excellent calendar management skills, including the coordination of complex executive meetings. Strong knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Ability to assist with preparation of presentation materials for meetings. Ability to review and summarize miscellaneous reports and documents. Experience prioritizing and managing multiple projects simultaneously and following through on issues in a timely manner. A candidate that has healthcare experience is preferred. Expert level written and verbal communication skills, strong decision-making ability and attention to detail are equally important.
