What you'll be doing

This position is expected for maintaining vendor files involving vendor registration forms and entering vendor information into the system; processing invoices for payment, which may involve filing any back-up paperwork such as purchase orders, packing slips, or receivers, matching invoices to back-up paperwork. Accounting Clerk will be accountable for determining invoices are correct, coding and vouchering invoices, entering invoices into the system for payment, and filing paid invoices. It is the task of the Accounting Clerk to contact with the other departments of the organization or to work with the vendor directly; auditing freight bills to bills of lading and reporting rate, over/short, and damage discrepancies for correction.

High school diploma
