What you'll be doing

Develop strong relationships with assigned customers who are aligned with the business model and strategies. These relationships should be both strategic and operational in nature. Receive and process all customer load orders. Insure the customer pays us for all services rendered. Make sure all customer operational requirements are met (reports, performance goals, capacity requirements, etc.). Responsible for the profit and loss of all assigned customer accounts. Productivity will be measured in PACE loads per day and profit margin for assigned customers. Lead negotiations for rates, service and capacity. Manage daily load targets (DLT) and other formal agreements between deBoer and the customer. Deliver profitable revenue. Develop and maintain customer relationships with assigned accounts. Work closely with freight management team to keep company network balanced. Handle incoming calls for all customers. Keep all loading/unloading instructions up to date.

What your background should be

Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience in truckload and supply chain management is required. Working knowledge of all modes of transportation. Strong communication and decision making skills. Strong negotiation skills. Attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to multi-task and enjoys a fast-paced team environment. Problem solving and analytical skills.

Required Schooling / Training

Bachelor degree.
